Captain's Log:

The feline that sleeps on the couch and pays no rent is still somehow the one with the higher earning probability after today. Homeostasis has been largely maintained: the bad news is the dearth of job offers today. The good news is the dearth of job rejections today. The prognosis is: I have given five more jobs a chance to reject me today. Life, finds a way.
